i've been obsessing about memory games too, after seeing bruno munari's game as well as the Nathalie l'Ete game chez Djeco. Last week I made this game for Teo and laminated them all, but
I think two and a half is just too young for memory... we've been playing a kind of (unsuccessful)snap instead.

I love it.. I've made versions for my kids too, but only by spray mounting the images to cardboard.. and they get hammered way too quickly. Laminating sounds like a great idea. Love the images you used..

2 and half is a great age for pairs as long as you only start with 3 or 4 pairs.It also helps if you let them win! Love them by the way.
